With the launch in 2020, 18 museums from the Basel region have put a Basel museum tram on the rails for the first time. The project is financed by the museums and the generous support of the partners involved: Baumann & Cie, Banquiers, Pro Innerstadt Basel, Moving Media Basel AG and Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe. The idea of a Basel Museum Tram arose from the desire to anchor the museums even better in the region and to draw attention to their programme. The tram will be used inside and outside by the participating museums and partners.

By buying this handicraft sheet, you are doing good: part of the proceeds will be donated to familea (formerly Basler Frauenverein) – a socially responsible association with a tradition of over 120 years in the Basel area.
