In 1440 Death came multifariousily with disease, war, torture, the sword, the noose, the axe, poison, burning, starvation. Nothing that much changes but now we have the gas-oven, the motorcar, concentration camps, the plane crash, the electric chair, the long range drone and the atom bomb. Hobbes said life was nasty, brutisch and short. Life has got longer – maybe not such a good idea because the extra years add only quantity not quality – and evolution closely planned time into ist agenda – maybe three score years and ten is just about right – and for many anyway life is still nasty and bruish. There are seven billion of us. Why insist on longevity? Let´s dance away to Death. We could go accompanied by drums and fiddles. Few get such an accomplishment on Life.
